Hi Everyone!
Ladies and Gentlemen, are you looking to make a romantic meal for that special someone? A meal that will simply thrill them? Well then I have the meal for you. Chicken Oscar! It's a pretty simple meal to make. If you don't want to make it, then call me, I will.
You will need the following ingredients:
* Chicken Breast
* Lump Crabmeat
* Asparagus
* Olive Oil
* Bernaise Sauce
Clean and season your chicken breast. Now, I like to use the thick chicken breast, mainly because my husband likes thick meat, but there are thinner cutlets to use. Rub your favorite seasonings and a little olive oil into the chicken.
Pour a little olive oil into a pan and cook your meat until it brown and thoroughly cooked.
In a seperate pan, heat your crabmeat. I like to add a little seasoning salt for flavor.
Preheat your broiler for the asparagus. I like to season the asparagus and brush it with olive oil, and cook it for approximately 5 minutes or until it turns bright green.
Once everything is cooked, put the chicken breast onto a plate, and then top with the crabmeat. Note: Typically the asparagus is put on top of the chicken in a cross and then topped with the crabmeat.
Drizzle Bernaise Sauce on top of your Chicken Oscar.
You can either make your sauce from scratch, or cheat and use the packaged Knorr's Bernaise Sauce.
Serve with your favorite side.
Light those candles, pour the wine and enjoy your romantic meal!
