Pan Seared Salmon - July 21, 2011

Hi Everyone!

I have a really simple meal for today that even the kids will love.  Pan Seared Salmon!  It's fast to make and very flavorful.  After a long day at work, who wants to slave over a hot stove in the heat.

Ok, here we go:

Clean and season the salmon.  If you don't like the skin, just carefully peel it off and then season.  I like to rub my seasonings into the fish and rub oil on it as well.

Oil your pan and heat.  Keep in mind, you can broil the fish as well.

Place salmon in pan and cook slowly on each side.

Once your salmon is almost completely cooked, add butter to the pan and flip on each side.

To make your dish a little exciting, top with Bernaise Sauce.  Buy a packet of Bernaise' Sauce by Knorr.  It comes powdered in the packet.  Add butter and milk to the powder.  Whisk until smooth.  Top the salmon.

Serve with your favorite sides.

Makes a great romantic meal as well.  Enjoy!

Please feel free to e-mail me with questions.  Let me know how your salmon turned out!
