Easy Fast Asparagus

Hi Everyone!

I became an asparagus lover late in life, and now I will never turn back.  Asparagus cooks pretty quickly.  If you over cook it, it will have a "slimy" texture.  Yuck!  My friend Edwina, who likes veggies, said that she didn't like it for that reason.  I was really shocked.   She tried mine and liked it.  This also a great veggie to make during the week.  Asparagus can be topped with Bernaise or Hollandaise Sauce to really bring out the flavor.

This is so easy!

You'll need the following:

* Asparagus
* Olive Oil
* Salt
* Pepper
* Garlic (optional)

Preheat your broiler or turn your oven up to 450 degrees.

Grease a baking sheet with oil oil or whatever you have.

Wash your asparagus and cut the ends.

Arrange on your baking sheet and season.

Rub or spray on your oil.

Place in the oven until they turn bright green and lightly browned.

They should cook in about 5-7 minutes depending on your oven.

Remove and serve with your meal.
