Simple, Rich Crab Bisque

Hi Everyone!

Today's recipe is Crab Bisque.  If you are looking for an easy soup to prepare that will warm you up on a chilly Fall or Winter night, then look no further.  This is also a good soup to prepare for a holiday party that will wow your guests.

You will need the following:

* Lump Crabmeat
* 1 Qt. Light Cream
* 1 Qt. Milk
* 1 Large Can of Chicken Broth
* Butter
* 1/2 an Onion
* 1 Stalk of Celery
* Flour
* Salt
* Pepper
* Parsley

In a large pot, melt 2-3 scoops of butter.

Pour in the light cream, milk and the chicken broth.  Bring to a boil.

Add the chopped onion and celery.  Stir occasionally.

Before adding the crabmeat, mix about 1 cup of flour and water in a measuring cup.  Make sure the mixture is smooth before adding to the pot.  Gradually add the mixture and whisk the soup until smooth.
You may need to repeat this step until you get the consistency that you like.

Open the can of crabmeat.  Separate the meat with a fork before adding to the pot.  Gradually add to the soup while stirring.

Season to taste with salt, pepper and parsley.

Enjoy!
