Stuffed Mushrooms

Hi Everyone!

It has been a very busy day between getting the kids ready for school and extra curricular activities.  I have literally been chauffeuring all day with only short breaks.  So needless to say, I didn't make anything elaborate for dinner.  Any way, last night I had a taste for a classic appetizer.....Stuffed Mushrooms.  Now Stuffed Mushrooms can be stuffed with just about anything that you enjoy.  I personally enjoy my Stuffed Mushrooms with crab meat and topped with Monterey Jack or Mozzarella Cheese.  With the holidays quickly approaching, this would make a great appetizer.  So, let me tell you how to make them.

You will need the following:

* Mushrooms (Whatever size that you like.)
* Lump Crab meat
* Breadcrumbs
* Onions
* Celery
* Egg
* Mayonnaise
* Olive Oil

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

Wash and carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms.

In a mixing bowl, add the crab meat, chopped onions, chopped celery, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise and 1 egg.  You can even chop up the mushroom stems and add them to your stuffing.  Mix thoroughly.

Carefully stuff your mushrooms.

Brush with oil so that the mushrooms stay moist.

Top with cheese if you like and place them in the oven to bake until golden brown.

Remove and get ready to wow your family and friends!

Enjoy!
