Cobb Salad

Hey Everyone!

Have you ever gone to Salad Work's for lunch and find that after you purchased a drink, you have spent $10 for lunch?  Really?  $10 for veggies that you can buy in the store for less?  Well, now you can save some money and make your own Cobb Salad at home, and it's so easy!

You will need the following:

* Chicken Breast
* Romaine or Iceberg Lettuce
* Tomatoes
* Bacon
* Crumbled Bleu Cheese
* Avocado
* Boiled Egg

Saute' or grill your chicken breast until golden brown.  Once cooled, chop your chicken into strips or cubes, whatever you prefer.  Set the chicken aside for now.

Fry or microwave a couple of pieces of bacon.  Let cool as well.

Wash and chop up your lettuce and place on your dish first as a bed.

Next, chop up the avocado and boiled egg and place on your bed of lettuce.

Add the tomatoes as well as the chicken breast.

Now crumble up the bacon and sprinkle on your salad.

You have just made yourself a Cobb Salad.

Top with your favorite dressing or check out my recipe for Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette.

Enjoy!
