Shish Kabobs - July 23, 2011

Hi Everybody!

Here's a great dish that is fun to make, good to eat and best of all, low in fat!  Shish Kabobs!  This is a dish that the whole family can make together.  You can definitely get your creativity on!  Anything goes that can stay on a skewer.  This is my recipe, but feel free to deviate from my recipe with your favorite veggies.  Here we go!

You'll need the following ingredients:

* Skewers
* Shrimp, Chicken or Beef
* Morton's Nature's Seasonings
* Meat Tenderizer
* McCormick's Steak and Chicken Seasoning
* Cherry or Grape Tomatos
* Onions
* Mushrooms
* Zucchini

Wash and season your meat and/or shrimp.  Cut the chicken and beef into good sized cubes.

Do the same with your veggies.

Arrange the meat and veggies on th skewers.  Season and grill until thoroughly cooked on each side.

My favorite sides to serve with this dish are asparagus and wild rice.

Tip:  My friend Linda once had a party and laid out the ingredients for Shish Kabobs.  Everyone got creative and made their own.  What a great way to break the ice at a party!

Enjoy!
