Crab Cakes with Dill Tartar Sauce - July 29, 2011

Hey Everybody!

TGIF!!!  It has been a long day and I had to work late.  I was thinking, what do I have in the refrigerator that I can make quickly?  Crab Cakes!  They are so simple to make.

You will need the following ingredients:

* Lump Crabmeat
* Plain Bread Crumbs
* 1 Egg
* 2 heaping tablespoons of Mayonnaise (preferably Hellman's)
* Your favorite seasonings
* Pepper
* Chopped Celery
* Chopped Onion
* Worcestershire Sauce

Preheat your broiler.

Add a can of crabmeat to a large mixing bowl.

Add approx. 1/2 cup of bread crumbs.  You want to add enough so that your crab cakes hold together.
Then add your egg, seasonings, pepper, worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, celery and onions.  You can add as little or more as you like.  Combine ingredients and scoop your crab cakes onto a greased pan.  It's that simple!

Broil until golden brown.

Crab cakes can be baked and pan fried.

Dill Tartar Sauce

* Mayonnaise
* Sweet Relish
* Dill Weed
* Pepper
* Worcestershire Sauce

Mix together and top your crab cake.
