Weekday Jambalaya

Hi Everyone!

Here is quick dish to make after coming home from a long, hard day of work.  Not only is it fast, but it's tasty.  So here's what I did.

You'll need the following:

* Zataran's Jambalaya Rice Mix
* Shrimp
* Chicken Breast
* Hillshire Smoked Beef Sausage
* Onions
* Peppers

Follow directions for the Zataran's Rice Mix.

While the rice is cooking, season, cook and chop the meat.

Now is a good time to chop up the vegetables as well.

You'll notice that the water is going to start cooking into the rice.  When about 1/2 the water is still in the pot, add the meat and vegetables.  Add them at this time, so that they can absorb the flavor of the seasonings.

Stir and allow to simmer on low heat.

Continue to stir periodically.

Serve hot and enjoy!
